UDOO had a meeting with Intel, along with other key figures of the Arduino ecosystem. We are confident that the UDOO X86 will continue being available as currently configured, up to the year 2020 and beyond :)

Arduino may be staying but not on the Intel Currie chip used by the x86 board. Perhaps Arduino could run on some other Intel chip? If so, the x86 could be modified to use that chip. I would certainly like to see that happen.

Didn't see Laura's post. This is good news. It would be nice to know how they plan to achieve this.

I'm a bit skeptical about the open source community to make Intel change their plans... But the future will tell.

I have to agree, currently the only guarantee from Intel is to make its online resources available for review only until June 2020. Third post in this thread is an interesting read.
