Just looked at the Downloads page and noticed the Linaro version is 11.10. Isn't that like 2 years old at this point?
Me too I'm wondering why it is available only such an old version: is it because of a technical matter?
When I try to unzip the dual Linaro img windows 7 native zip thinks the uncompressed image is 734 PB. I must be doing something wrong. Does any one see the error of my ways? Should I try gunzip or another tool?
I just unzipped the Linaro Dual SD image on a Mac without a hitch. My issues on Win 7 are apparently unique to Win7 (or maybe the version of unzip I'm using)
santowood, I decompressed the img with unrar and said that was a corrupted file, i skipped it and burned the img on the sd and booted ubuntu as if nothing happened, did that happened to you too? i was using Win7 by the way..
Hi all, I have a similar problem with Linaro Dual version. After downloaded it: on Windows XP and 8 - winrar warning message (corrupted file) but extraction OK - winzip no extraction corrupted file - 7zip extraction OK no error message on Linux - unzip OK and also dd writing But in every case my udoo doesn't boot. I tried with different sd cards (Transcend, Kingston). Also no boot with Android. The power seems ok, led green on. In debug mode (connecting microusb to CN6 port) black screen on Teraterm (Windows). On Linux after powered the board [ 3211.260065] usb 3-1: new full speed USB device number 4 using uhci_hcd [ 3211.439429] cp210x 3-1:1.0: cp210x converter detected [ 3211.552074] usb 3-1: reset full speed USB device number 4 using uhci_hcd [ 3211.699657] usb 3-1: cp210x converter now attached to ttyUSB0 [ 3212.096712] usb 3-1: usbfs: interface 0 claimed by cp210x while 'brltty' sets config #1 [ 3212.101831] cp210x ttyUSB0: cp210x converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0 [ 3212.101863] cp210x 3-1:1.0: device disconnected Any ideas? Thanks
Regarding the outdated Linaro version: another solution would be to give us a framework hardware pack setup that we can use own own rootfs with. Once we have the hardware pack it's just the matter of running a script and downloading updated packages.
