I think this may be related to a bios setting but not sure, I am trying to load centos onto the local flash however I never see it in the setup options when loading the os. If I plug in an extra usb device I see that device in the options to install to.
What version of Centos? 6.x is not compatible it seems: https://www.udoo.org/forum/threads/installing-centos-6-9.7382/ There is a test image on the eMMC installed. Perhaps you have to remove this first with gparted before the installer of Centos can recognise it.
yes, ordered the advanced + for this purpose. I am running a version 7+ on Centos I do not know how to change up the partitions or if that is needed though
You can do that with the program gparted. Can you start Centos live from a usb? Then you can run gparted to delete the partition on the eMMC. Then you should be able to install Centos on the eMMC.
