    Hi,

I'm hoping to buy a Neo, but wondering if anyone can help me by answering a couple of questions I have, please.

Do all three versions have LVDS output? The images for the Basic and Extended show some kind of tab over the connector.

With a suitable cable (eg https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/361957122718), can the Neo drive any LCD panel than is connected to it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Iain

Yes, all three versions have LVDS output. https://www.udoo.org/udoo-neo/
And No, only Udoo LVDS screens are supported.
If you don't use touch you can also attach any HDMI monitor.

You could drive your own LCD panel but its more work, ie buy the udoo cable and rewire for the lvds panel along with the appropriate backlight circuitry (if required). Touch support is easy as long as the panel supports i2c. Furthermore don't get a panel beyond 720p resolution because the GPU doesn't perform well above that resolution.
