@rswamy you have to create a bezel and clamp it with brackets or backplate. See for example http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:501787 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1446584 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1317676 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:681601 Edit: Forgot the best one : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:430762
Do you know if there is a ready-made, off the shelf product that I could use? Something more commercial for this LCD panel. I was looking at some open frame LCDs, they come in nice sheet metal cases. I haven't found (or don't know the key words) for just buying the frame itself. For example: It seems like a lot of the embedded boards (pi, beagle, udoo) come with these panel only lcds which make everyone re-invent the wheel when it comes to mounting. At least the official pi screen comes with a bezel, and there's a nice beaglebone screen that comes with mounting holes: Anyway, it does sound like I'll have to make my own. Thanks for the reply!
Hello! Finally do we have any more option than the 7 and 15"? I am looking for smaller touchscreen like 5"; any idea? Any possibility to adapt from other manufacturer? Regards Tommy
@R&D Real lvds monitor connected directly to the LVDS connector I don't think so. You could give this a try: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321817518097
Our LVDS connector is custom, so I guess you won't be able to find an LVDS monitor that can be attached in a plug-n-play way. But if you find it, shout it out loud! We're all ears Best regards
