Is it possible to either physically connect a LED to the Transcend 256GB SSE (TS256GMTS600) to show when it is actively being accessed, or write (or download) a program to do the same for Windows10 and/or Debian Linux? Although there is a nice little Windows utility available for download here: https://us.transcend-info.com/Support/No-643, I was unable to find any detailed documentation for the SSD.
https://goo.gl/ORqd6W I've got this showing up via Amazon, to help with on/off/reset/HDD LED indicators. seems handy to have and at a good price... search for a guy who posted a youtube video installing Windows 10 (thanks for the video, if you're here!) on his new UdooX86 board and the LED lights indicate HDD access nicely. Now just waiting patiently for my boards to be shipped from Italy!
That's neat, in a quirky and useful way! Now if we just had a solid case to put all these boards and goodies in... Anybody have good CNC skills? I would like an aluminum case that could act as a big heat sink.

Make a note to myself... UDOO x86's User Manual page 29 pin 3 HD_LED_N Hard Disk activity LED really should have been clarified as LED for SATA HD activities. Case in point, since it only reflects SATA hard disk's activity, eMMC access will not be reflected. (So would not cover NVMe. however, that mode is not supported in current board anyway.) ccs_hello
I wonder whether that means SATA drive in both SATA connector and M.2 connector, or only one of those?
Strip an older/surplus ATX case for it's front panel controls. I have a setup I pulled from an old case that I use for bench testing PC MoBos before I put them into the case...
