I have yet to get the desktop version working on Ubuntu, but I have managed to get it running on the latest android release! It runs smoothly for the most part, although it is a little laggy at the start of each show, and always keeps the video at lowest quality for the first 10-30 seconds. The WiFi has also dropped connection on me a couple times, but very rarely, I watched almost a full season of Futurama on it with only 1 disconnection. To install, i just used the file explorer and an APK of netflix downloaded from my desktop.
The next release of the Android image is supposed to be addressing a lot of the performance issues so hopefully there is something in there that will help stabilize the WiFi.. i havent seen change logs or anything though so i cant be sure. From what i recall the new images should be released soon (few days or weeks or so)
