Having issues with debian install onto the udoo contains wifi/bluetooth adapter states issue with not finding firmware or drivers basically. Cannot get out on the network
did you take a firmware included iso? https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/
I used the ubuntu LTS from the main page will that be an issue? Using for a web application server right now(unifi,UNMS,Screenconnect) ... would be nice to use the pins to turn lights on and off ... should i reinstall using the above listed iso?
I'm not sure but you may need to update your ubuntu via ethernet, the wifi dongle was released current 2016. do you use a kernel 4.6? https://www.udoo.org/docs-x86/Hardware_&_Accessories/Official_Accessories.html https://www.udoo.org/forum/threads/wifi-drops-after-5-10-minutes.6939/#post-26703
Just install Arduino IDE and Arduino 101 board and you should be ready to go to switch anything you would like. https://www.udoo.org/docs-x86/Arduino_101_(Intel_Curie)/Getting_Started_with_Arduino_101.html
