    Hi,
Got all my stuff for my new bolt gear together and went to boot it today.
Get a green light, but it doesn't seem to post. After about 7-8 seconds the fan spins up. That's it.
It turns off after a while until it runs on again.
I plugged in a speaker but there is no beep/sound.

When I plug in a screen, it seems that a new source is connected but does not get a signal.
When I plug in an MS ergo keyboard, the FN key lights up shortly but NUM key etc. remain off, even when pressing them.

I'm using the original power supply. Tried to boot with only a single RAM stick and without any drives but no chance.
    My hardware is:
    I don' have spare hardware.

I tested with an HDMI cable and an HDMI to DVI converter plus DVI cable, which are working with my notebooks and TV.
I tried it with different screens and the TV as well.

The BIOS reset switch is in the correct position. A reset was tried to perform as well, but nothing seemed to happen. There is no feedback when the reset is accomplished.

tried to boot it from USB using Ubuntu but 16 GB USB flash drive is not even read.
There is LED in the drive, what goes on as soon as the system accesses it. My notebook boots from it, so the drive and boot image is alright.
So either it is dead or it only supports
not CMSX32GX4M2A2400C16 but what is quite wired

Do you see a Udoo logo during boot (after pressing the on/off switch)?

If you do not see anything with hdmi there is something wrong. What happens if you disconnect your 2 m2 drives and only use the usb disk to boot?

I meant that the screens stay black. Even the USB drive is not read / checked, as that is indicated by the LED on the USB drive.

Screens see that a source is connected but says "no signal".
I did all tests, one RAM stick, with/without boot drive etc., no difference.

It looks like I have a DOA.

Udoo was that kind and supplied a RAM stick for testing, so I can confirm that the BOLT is alright. Besides, I was able to test my RAM sticks at a different place, which told me that they could stick in my companiy's notebook.
So I swapped the sticks in the notebook and put these from the notebook in the BOLT, and voilà it runs.
I added the types in UDOO BOLT Memory Compatibility List | Page 2 | UDOO Forum

I was able to run TrueNAS SCALE - TrueNAS Open Storage | ZFS for the Home to the Data Center if anyone is interested but the operation is properly stable but not as intended, see TrueNAS SCALE Announcement and Nightly Image Downloads | Page 4 | TrueNAS Community
