So far everything works on my quad except the audio over HDMI. What I try to do is play an mp3 or avi movie from a flash drive. When I switch the audio output in the settings to the headphone jack, it works just fine, I get good quality audio. When it is switched back to the HDMI , I get no sound at all. Also if this helps, whenever I am watching a video and try to output the sound over HDMI, the video starts to play like it is at 2x fast forward. Very weird. Does any one else have this problem or any possible solutions? I am using an HDMI cable and VISIO tv that works well with my ps3 so I know it works fine with audio and video for other applications. I am using the Ubuntu os supplied by the website, I believe it is 12.04 LTS

lilbrazo, try with a different cable, sometimes it works. Let us know any feedback you're having, let's hope this is not an Hardware issue.
Hi delba, I have tried two different cables so far with the same result. Like before both of these cables have worked on other devices with audio. I can try to find another cable, but I already have the wire accessory kit ordered so I will try that HDMI cable too. Is it possible this could be a software issue? Thanks for your help.
Ok so I used the HDMI cable that came with the kit and no change. I used a sony bravia tv and it worked just fine. Is there any kind of settings that I can change so my visio can work with audio?
