    Is there a way to boot UDOO with OpenELEC?

    Possibly.

    I see there is a rPi version (which also is ARM based, although of an older/lesser capable architecture version), which may work with some tweaks.

    More promising is compiling from source on top of a clean Debian or Ubuntu. Possibly the time will be taken up messing around with the Codecs and drivers.

    Is this something you'd be prepared to take on, give a go at, and report back here with an update?

    yea th rasPi is ARM6 and the UDOO is ARM7 so they are not directly compatible
    On thier site there is not a generic ARM build except for the RasPi which as noted likely wont work, but its likely possible to compile from source which is availible

    I have installed the Open Elec for Uddo. Actually working in an old Sonny trinitron with the help of a HDMI to 2av to convert the HDMI

    I downloaded an image from the openelec site and it did work for me. I'm usin a wireless keyboard logitech 400 to control it
