Hello guys, i have read on the kickstarter campaign of the udoo x86 that it teorically supports pcie over the m2 SATA port.... but what does it mean? Can i attach a mini pciE connector to the M2 230 sata port or i still need a NGFF to PCIE (or mini pciE)? I was wondering if a product like this one will work on the udoo x86 ultra: https://www.amazon.it/Laptop-Extern...e=UTF8&qid=1526554578&sr=8-2&keywords=exp+gdc They also have a version with NGFF adaptor, which version should i buy that will work? Thanks in advance
Refer to page 32 of the manual for technical details: http://download.udoo.org/files/UDOO_X86/Doc/UDOO_X86_MANUAL.pdf I am not aware of any NGFF/M.2 adapter that works with the key B connector on the UDOO X86. There is a community project that describes connecting a PCIe card to the UDOO X86 https://www.electromaker.io/project/view/udoo-x86-with-geforce-gtx-1060-gpu
