RTC not working?

Hi - I have an x86 Advanced Plus. I have installed Ubuntu mate 16.04 but have found that the RTC is not working.

timedatectl reports that the RTC is "n/a" and without an internet connection, the time is 2 months old.

Can anyone else with this let me know if their RTC is working?

Any suggestions for getting the RTC to start?
