Udoo has a 5 volt power connector (j12) to supply power to a sata device. Does anyone know how muck current can be drawn from this connector? Also, is there a suitable power cable available that can be used to connect power from j12 to a sata hdd?

I doubt you're going to find something pre-made that will work for the power portion.

Your best bet will probably be to find one of those 4-pin (old style hard drive power) Molex --> sata power cables, and then cut the connector off and solder the +5V and GND wires into a new connector that will fit onto J12.

And FYI, I'll probably be doing the same as soon as I receive my unit...
