[Sharing] Udoo Qual + HDMI to VGA adapter + VGA LCD Screen

    I've Received Udoo Qual just right now.
    And I tried udoo qual with HDMI to VGA adapter to connect with 19'' VGA screen.
    And It is success.

    My tools:

    HDMI to VGA adapter
    Tontec Rasperry Pi HDMI to VGA Converter Adapter 1080P UXGA 16-bit DAC AV HDMI 1.3a ... It is worked.
    The USB external power please do NOT connect in UDOO port, use USB power adapter to link it.

    ASUS 19'' VGA LCD screen

    PS. If there happened "SCREEN SHIFT" issue, use the 'AUTO RESET' for LCD Screen MENU list. It will be OK.

    Not all adapters will work of course. Glad to hear yours does :)

    I've bought an adapter like that one, but without external usb power and it works perfect too.

    Just got my Udoo quad core and was having trouble with HDMI on my sony bravia TV which I use as a monitor. I also have a philips 170B4 monitor that has a VGA input so I decided to try a PiView HDMI - VGA lead, that I got but have not yet tried for my Raspberry Pi.

    This lead work brilliantly I could see the whole desktop and the quality of the text is great, I have decided to use this set up as the default for the Udoo.

    Just need to get the speed of the Arduino compiling and uploading sorted out.
