Hi, Just leaving a quick note in case someone faces the same problem. I tried to setup a UDOO Quad as a TV controller and had a strange problem... when X window was started, the TV showed rubbish on screen and the udoo freezed. This was repeteable. After some frustrating hours I was about to ask for RMA. The I had an enlightment moment: the problem was the power supply. I was powering the UDOO using my laptop USB port, which seems not powerful enough to keep UDOO working beyond the boot. I plugged a 2A power supply and everything worked as expected.
Dear Eduardo Diaz, I guess you were using an LVDS monitor, that requires 12V (and 2A) power supply, isn't it?
