Hello, I recently tried to download and setup a dual boot system, with the primary being windows 10, with another OS Ubuntu 16.04, for a special project that involves arduino, ython, and python flask. However, the ubuntu works with the booting usb stick, but when I tried to directly install the Ubuntu on the 32gb storage, it doesn't boot properly. Just gives me a blank purple screen. I need help fixing this, in order to advance my work. Someone please help.
Ryzen Embedded CPU was released post 16.04 thus many support modules (CPU, chipset, eMMC, GPU, etc.) were not in the distribution. Way to solve this (if must use 16.04) is to port back the required modules into the older OS distribution, unfortunately. Enjoy the new car smell is the benefit and curse.
