Hi all. I'd like to develop a small project with udooneo. But I'd like to use the latest yocto version (maybe thhud). Which is the latest recipe collection for yocto and udooneo? Best regards, Mauro
Hello Mauro, Well, my friend, we are probably only 2 left on this forum. So I will tell you what I can understand from the UDOO-Yocto thing. Yocto is not an operation system or not a Linux distribution. Yocto is a layer that you can build your own distribution with the plugins, libraries etc. as you want. So you must build your own version of Yocto for yourself. But I offer you to not (if you don't want to have brain cancer). Because almostly all of the links are broken. Builder you can download is not compatible with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. There is only one image that you can download, it is modjo's (you can find it in Yocto subject). But I should warn you, no gstreamer or touch panel support! Annoying, right Btw, is that "small project" made by Qt or what? Have a good day!
Thanks for the answer. I work with Yocto for other projects and I know how it works. I compiled successfully the Morty version of yocto for udooneo. And I ask here if there is some newer version of yocto I can use. Best regards, MZ
In the near future, there won't be new versions of Yocto for UDOO NEO. Please refer to the old versions you can find here in the forum or in the documentation. Hope this helps!
