I had exactly the same issue but not a reply from the support team. I hope you are luckier than me... UDOOBuntu 2 beta 3 for UDOO Quad released
@Theflorianmaas , do you recall any troubleshooting steps you did? If I know what doesn't fix it, it may point me in the correct direction. It was already late when I started working on this last night and I ran out of steam.
@Hydro Unfortunately I couldn't succeed. Since Udoobuntu 2 has been released (08/2015) I have tried to boot from Sata, but I have always encountered that error. I have tried everything, with SSD and mechanical drives and even recompiled the kernel to be sure the sata drivers were included, but nothing... Actually the boot starts from the Sata drive but then there is something in this kernel that hangs mounting the partition and I have no idea what it is. In my opinion the problem is this kernel. The previous Udoobuntu 1.1 was able to boot from sata but actually the kernel was different. I'm curious to see if you are able to find a workaround. It would be great!!! Thank you Franco
