I managed to install Windows 7 on an SSD. Yes, I live in the past, and I'd like to stay there if I can get this working right. USB, wifi, graphics, that's all good and works, Intel drivers were easy enough to find. But for the rest, all the links I've seen around here are dead. Does anybody have current links. or all the drivers saved?
I found a program that's better at identifying devices and finding drivers than Windows 7 is. Problem mostly solved. There's three what appear to be processor controllers (I don't know enough about how processors work to have a clear idea of what that even is) that either won't start or won't load the drivers (the drivers are there, supposedly, they just won't load, and there are a lot more of these controllers listed that do appear to be working). Not sure what that's about. Other than that, though, Driver Booster helped.
Ciao Mozart, could you please be more specific? What drivers are missing? And what driver vendors are you having issues with?
