Hi, I'd like to build my custom image using yocto, but I couldn't find yocto repo anywhere... Are yocto meta-layer sources (recipes+binaries) available somewhere? thanks
Not at the moment sorry but we're working to release a new version of Yocto image with binaries and sources as well.
I've got a rather beefy Yocto build machine set up (16 cores, 32 GB of RAM) . I'm keenly interested in the Yocto config.
Hi, you can try yocto layer from boundary devices - http://boundarydevices.com/yocto-dora-release-mx6/ Or you can try my how-to - http://www.episodic.cc/2013/12/udoo-yocto-15.html
I bought the Udoo for the Yocto support. I have existing sources that I would like to use, but getting Ubuntu to work is to hard. I have several other people who will buy the boards, but only if they have access to the Yocto meta-layer. Can you provide a link to the layer you are using. I realize it is not working correctly but the community could help you fix the issues you have. Rather than developing in a vacuum the process may move faster if you provide an open development area.
I too aminterested in this. Has there been any head way or development on the meta-layer that you are using?
delba, Do you have an update yet? I would willing to help with bugs if you posted a link to a layer for testing.
Hello delba, Is there any news on this please? :? The Udoo forum has been very quiet recently. You seem to be the most active Udoo Support member delba, is everyone else on holiday? :? If it wasn't for you delba, this forum would be very quiet (We all are grateful for your help) Best Regards, Carlos
I have a project that I am attempting to convince to use the udoo boards. We will require access to the meta-udoo yocto source though because we will be including extra packages. Are you still going to release this source or do we build our own. I would prefer to be able to upstream issues and solutions we discover.
Not yet but you can look at the lsronga work. He released a Yocto BSP meta layer for Dora branch: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=826
Can you provide a link to Nox Vidmate VLC the layer you are using. I realize it is not working correctly but the community could help you fix the issues you have.
