Hey all, If anyone is interested, I have made some labels to print out and stick on the side of the headers. Having the double height ones have worked out better to stick more info on them... I usually don't bother printing these out on other projects and just use a postit note, but thought I'd go the extra effort and colour them in close to that on the pinout diagram from UDOO. To help protect the colour side, I used some scotch tape and trimmed it all back flush with the edges of the boxes. The got some double sided tape and stuck them to the headers. The A0-A7 was the tricky one being close to the power header but used my trusty stainless steel ruler to guide it in. I've done three sets of them so you can change it around to different labels / colours if you want. The file should be attached at the bottom here. Oh, and yes, that is a 1tb sata drive attached to the underside of the board. Just a temporary thing while I work out a nice little box with a 10.1 inch touch screen lid on it with pull out drawer for a bluetooth keyboard / mousepad.
Nice idea, I may do that myself. For those who have an inkjet, you can print on artificial substrates such as Tyvek (a sort of plastic), other options exist (including Acetate). Laser printer owners could print on 'laser compatible' Acetate film.

Great idea for the labels. Thx. Can you shed some light on the SATA drive (such as power source etc). Also, is that a fan connection (J4 ?) to cool the drive ? Don' see a fan for the top. May be a pic of the sata side would help ;?) thx.
