Hey there UDOOers, we made it, this is the last day of 2020. It has been an extremely difficult year, and it affected everyone on the planet but we’re here, you’re here and that’s the greatest present of all. So here’s our thank you to you all. This is our goodbye to 2020.
2020 has been the year where many new words entered our vocabulary: pandemic, lockdown, social distancing. It’s the year where we all learned how masks work and finally accessory producers found a new market to jump on. It’s the year many of us lost a loved one, the year of isolation from friends, families and our community.
But this year has been much more than the horrible things that happened. It has been the year we’ve discovered a new strength, it’s the year we discovered how special every little thing is, it’s the year we earned a new appreciation for our loved ones. It’s the year we survived.
For the UDOO team it has been a weird year: our routine has been challenged, we couldn’t be together anymore and at first, we struggled to find a way to stay connected and to keep working like normal. Slowly we settled into a new routine and found other ways to connect, to work, to create.
We’re here because of you, and your support this year has been amazing. We were scared when the pandemic hit, but you guys pulled us through it. UDOO, as a team, kept working, struggling, and succeeding all thanks to your generosity.
The world will remember 2020 forever, and just can’t wait for a new chapter in 2021.
