There are few things that can unite the whole world under one flag. Especially now, in 2021, people are divided by the simplest things, and it looks like nothing can unite people. Then the 8th of March comes back again and here we are, celebrating together a very important holiday: International Women’s Day.
UDOO takes this particular holiday seriously, ‘cause we have amazing women working in our office, and we want to share something about them. So, get to know the women of UDOO.
First we want to introduce you guys to Giusy. Giusy was the very first woman to join the UDOO team! She’s one of the founding fathers of UDOO, back in 2013 and it’s still the first to welcome each new team member to date. She’s also a professional baker, a side talent that the team greatly appreciates, a badass working mom, and ended up taking care of the whole UDOO team from the start. Over the years her leadership is one of the key elements that turned our team into a group of friends, and she’s currently the UDOO HR manager.
Then come and meet Eva. She’s a unicorn and cat lover…jk. But she’s a miniature burst of enthusiasm and hobbies that clash wonderfully with each other and turn out to be useful in the least expected moment. She’s the Community and Media Specialist here at UDOO. You’ll find her always busy handling social media, the community, and anything that needs something written in UDOO. She has joined us in 2019 and is the one enjoying the lockdown the least.
It’s time to say ciao to our newest member, Chiara! Chiara joined the team a week ago as a Junior UX Designer. She loves nature photography, she’s a big big BIG Aqua fan, the vinyl on the wall kinda fan. Did you know she’s a technology enthusiast, always looking for something new and exciting to play with.
It’s time to greet Viola! She’s the newest addition to the Marketing team, and is a Junior Marketing Specialist who’s very hobby is marketing! She loves to investigate the behind the scenes of every topic related to marketing and is a whirlwind of ideas and plans. She’s also another badass working mom of 2, joined the UDOO team just a few months ago and is a champion table football player!
She deserves a statue. All hail Annalisa! Other than being the sweetest person you’ll ever meet, she handles most of the tickets. Oh yes, she’s our Operation Specialist, and she’s the one calling to repair your boards, handling shipments and customs, and that’s how she’s become one of the most patient people anyone’s ever met. She loves taking long walks in the Tuscan countryside, working out at the gym, reading and binging Netflix.
Last but not least, here’s Lisa, the newest Junior Data Scientist we added to our team. She just started in January, and is working on the kind of projects you’re soon gonna see the results of. Back to her! She loves drawing and all ways to express her creativity. Plus, she plays football!
So, these are the women of UDOO! A big thank you to them for all the work they’ve put in up until now, and all the indispensable contributions they’ll make from now on.
Celebrate the women in your life today, and every day afterwards. Happy International Women’s day to us all.
