Friends, we’ve been exhibiting and enjoying meeting fellow UDOOers at the annual Maker Faire Rome event since its inauguration in 2013, so we are thrilled to announce that UDOO will be located in Pavilion 7 during this year’s event, held at at the Fiera di Roma, from 1 to 3 December.
Maker Faire Rome is a showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement that UDOO loves being part of. Currently, there is a promo code for discounted entry, obtainable by signing up to the Maker Faire Rome newsletter: http://www.makerfairerome.eu/en/newsletter-en/ (code expires 15th November).
We look forward to meeting our friends and making new ones! And have prepared many exciting demonstrations using the UDOO family of single-board computers for makers. Ranging from an upcycled radio, to a car racing game that uses a GPU three-times the size of the ultra-compact UDOO X86!
The fun interactive UDOO Internet of Things (IoT) house will be constructed and connected to the UDOO cloud, with informative talks from the team to show makers and learners how they can easily link projects to the cloud, transferring data between objects and devices.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that inter-European researchers from the AXIOM project will be at the UDOO booth, showing the high performance computing module that they’re collaboratively developing, with the aim of solving the ever growing needs of cyber-physical systems (CPS). Incorporating a Xilinx Ultrascale+ FPGA that has been programmed to be capable of running Arduino sketches! With objects and devices becoming more and more connected, now is perfect time to learn more about these systems. They will also be showing a cluster of UDOO X86 boards.
